The Resolutions

Two new things to note:

First – The last blog post was about a thought about switching some of my interest and time to a Vlog. My kids got me the camera, I might as well use it. Assuredly the first few posts to YouTube will be very scary, but I hope to make them as professional as possible from the get go. I’ll get into that on a later date, the Vlog is still in the planning stages.

Second – My final numbers are in for #wip500. 447881 words for the year. Over 50K from my goal of 500,000 words. However now that I have over a dozen character sketches and scene sketches, two new co-writers, and seven nearly complete rough drafts, and lots of new ideas – There are going to be some changes here at wordpressland too. I will be making this either sirkeystone.com or kpworks.com and turning into a publishing company for the three of us. Meaning: The Maraude Series will now have Stephan’s name on it, not mine, even though technically we are writing it together.

So starting on my birthday January 6th, 2013 Neighbor’s Basement first edition, Stage first edition, and Operation: Astronomical first edition will be off the shelves. If you want a copy to prove how horrid my work was only a few years ago, then by all means make sure you get them ordered before then. (NOTE: they will still be available from their respective publishers, Smashwords and Lulu, but I will be pulling the links from here.)

My first project will be a full recourse of Neighbor’s Basement. Remember that there is also a sequel called A Dog and His Girl that I haven’t started yet, planning has happened but not much else.

Rachael is currently working on a short story exercise to improve her own writing for about another year or so while we continue to plan Care and Feeding of Dragon Children.

And as I have already mentioned, Stephan is working on a full rewrite of my first book of the Maraude Series to polish it up and hopefully have it ready for a republish under his name by July.

I will leave BackBurner up as a teaser for a while (mostly so I have something to sell! LOL) And as always don’t forget that all proceeds from BackBurner go to help the Project AK-47 child soldier fund.

The topic that I will be covering in my upcoming Vlog will be the research and development of the Neighbor’s Basement technology and the character designs that I had to subject myself to, to make them more realistic that they were in the first edition. Stay Tuned!
